Winning a place in the UK landscape photographer of the year 15th edition awards book. This shot of the iconic Sycamore Gap us a series of 30 images merged together. It was taken from the north side at 3:00 am when it was -3 which is why I had the whole place to myself. It was both inspiring and terrifying all at the same time.
