On this evening, all the conditions necessary for an epic milky way shot were in place. It was a new moon, there was no wind and no a single cloud in the sky. The only thing against me was the tide. If I was to capture this shot it would mean I would have to stay on the island until the next low tide which wasn't until 7:30 the next morning. I decided it was worth it and arrived on the island at 12:40 am and proceeded to have one of the most amazing nights under the stars. I even caught a shooting star and the northern lights in this image.
